Stakeholder cooperation

We cooperate actively and continuously with our stakeholders to promote interaction.

We organize a stakeholder panel meeting with the representatives of the key stakeholders annually and events with the nearby residents several times a year.

Further use of the mining area

We are involved in supporting and enabling the further use of the mine. We cooperate closely in the Callio project, operated by the town of Pyhäjärvi, which promotes the further use of the mining after the end of mining operations.

Cooperation with the village association

We also cooperate with the local village association and have played our part in enabling the operation of the Mäkikylä multipurpose building. In autumn 2023, a permanent exhibition of the mine was opened at the building.

We built a bird observation tower to old moraine intake area in 2023. You can freely visit the area and observe birds. More information: Lepikon lintutorni
